EUROAVIA Stockholm has been working hard since its foundation in November last year, and finally we are proud to present our first and inaugural event, the online Conference Call: How do airlines decide where to fly?

The conference will be a behind the scenes talk about how airlines companies decide routes and airports. During the webinar, we will talk about defining airlines strategy, the annual workflow in airline commercial departments, how to decide the fleet, the main airports (bases) and the routes themselves.
The speaker, Alex Baró, ancillary revenue manager at Volotea and professor at ITAèrea, will talk about his own experience in the airline industry.
Volotea is a major Spanish airline company with headquarters in Barcelona, having transported more than 25 million passengers all over Europe, since it was founded in 2012. Currently they have a fleet of 24 Airbus 319 aircrafts in operation, the company has achieved more than 90% LF% in 2020 despite the current situation thanks to its flexibility.
ITAèrea is the world’s first business school specialised in airport and aeronautical management, in terms of students, headquarters and professors. They aim to foster the development of training worldwide managers of the air-transport sector. Currently they offer university degrees in cooperation with UDIMA, The University of E-Learning in Madrid.
The conference will take place on Thursday, the 4th of February, at 18:00 CET via Zoom.
